As we enter a new season at Bellville Hockey Club, we are looking for committed and hard-working members and parents to join our Committee. The club relies heavily on the voluntary support from our members, and as we all know: more hands, make light work.

To nominate yourself, or another club member, for a role on the 2026 Committee, please complete the nomination form below - you're also welcome to nominate yourself for more than one position. Only current and paid-up members are eligible to be nominated for any Committee roles.

2026 Committee Roles

Chairperson: The strategic leader and public face of the club. This role will focus on high-level governance, major projects, and key external relationships, moving away from day-to-day operations.

Vice-Chairperson: Acts as the deputy to the Chairperson, crucial for operational coordination and providing support across the committee.

Treasurer: The financial steward of the club, responsible for fiscal health, compliance, budgeting, and financial reporting.

Secretary / Club Administrator: The central administrative hub, managing club records, correspondence, and communication to reduce current bottlenecks.

Head Junior Representative: Oversees all junior team activities, acting as the main point of contact for parents and ensuring smooth communication between players, coaches, and the club.

Junior Match Secretary: Coordinates all pre-season trials and fixtures for junior club teams in consultation with coaches and team management.

Senior Match Secretary: Coordinates pre-season trials and fixtures for all senior club teams, managing league rules, collating results, and allocating umpires.

Head of Kit & Merchandise: Manages the entire lifecycle of club kit and merchandise, from procurement to inventory management and sales.

Clubhouse Manager: Oversees all aspects of the clubhouse and bar, including stock management, staffing, and ensuring compliance with all licensing and safety regulations.

Head of Social: Fosters a strong internal community by coordinating social events and actively promoting the club’s values and activities.

Head of Commercial & Fundraising: A pivotal role focused on driving revenue through securing sponsorships, identifying grants, and managing fundraising initiatives.

Indoor Hockey Organizer / Representative: Responsible for coordinating all aspects of the club’s participation in indoor hockey leagues, including team entries, player communication, and acting as the primary contact for indoor-related matters.

Masters Hockey Organizer / Representative: Organizes and represents the club’s masters’ teams, managing their specific needs for fixtures, communication, and social engagement.
